Ladybugs Everywhere!

In Colorado Springs this year we have a bumper crop of ladybugs! In our backyard we can usually find from 5-10 ladybugs within a few minutes. The girls really love the ladybugs. We got a little ladybug house that is made of mesh that we can put them in to watch them. Every night before bedtime we let all the ladybugs loose.

A few days ago we spent the afternoon drawing the ladybugs by looking at them walk around in the ladybug house. I have a whole page filled with new ladybug drawings. I didn't know that they have so many different spot patterns. Let me know how you like this new drawing of the little bear that loves ladybugs. Butterfly Birthday Invitations

I updated my little butterfly design. The first cute ladybug was hot pink and yellow hearts but no one bought that design and it expired in my shop. I decided to update the colors and design so this is what I came up with. Someone said to me the other day when commenting about one of my designs that it looked old. Well that stuck me like a thorn. So now I'm trying to do more research as to what is new and hip and what people are buying in designs. If you've seen any hip designers send me a link to their website. I will not allow my designs or myself to be old or outdated.

Butterfly - Calendar in a Box

Make a calendar in a box for all the things you must remember to do all the year long. When do we get the pet's shots? When do we change the filter in the furnace? When does the car need the oil changed and the brakes checked again? When is Aunt Connie's birthday? Stargazer Lily Invitations

One of my favorite flowers it the stargazer lily. I used to have them growing in my old garden. Today I plan to order some lily bulbs right after I post this. I was waiting until we bought our own property to plant a garden but after 2 summers of no garden I miss it too much not to have one. Math Skills - Frog and Dragonflies

I have started to make some educational card games with my designs for the girls to play with. The first one I made on Saturday was the Frog and Dragonflies. Count the dragonflies flying around frog and match the number with the number on the puzzle pieces. We had great fun playing with this one. The next one I am making is about matching words that rhyme.
