When I was about 12 years old my dad took me to the Sioux Falls Great Plains Zoo where I saw my first zebras. I loved the zebras with their beautiful patterns. I always took lots of photo of them.

I was so busy making this design and my daughter kept asking me if I was done yet. So I stopped working on this and remembered my real focus. To work at home to be near my children. My children are the real driving force behind this business. So I can be there for the and watch them grow up. When I took a break, we went into the kitchen for a snack. I watched in amazement as my 6yr old, for the first time, made a recipe for flat bread dough all on her own. She said, "Mom, don't help me. I know how to do it." And she did.  I was only needed to cook them on the hot skillet and she did everything else. I would have missed this if I had been away at some office working. I am so thankful for being able to work near my children so I don't miss their accomplishments. Bee and Sunflower Baby Shower Invitation

We were out walking the other day in Colorado Springs when my girls spotted the most beautiful wild sunflower growing next to a fence. I snapped a photo and that flower is now the inspiration for this Bee and Sunflower Baby Shower invitation design. I wanted to get a photo with the girls standing by the sunflowers but the bees were also enjoying the sunflowers and I didn't want them to get stung. We had a wonderful work-out in the park with running and iron circles. Today is also my brother Dan's 30th birthday! He had a wonderful vacation with his girlfriend Lisa visiting her relatives.

Ladybug Celebration Birthday invitation, Baby Shower

Whooho, so I've been without work again for 3 weeks. A little scary but thanks to all you wonderful people who are ordering my invitations we eating regular meals! I have been busy creating new designs trying to find out what you want for your sweetheart's birthdays!

Today was also the third day of home school for my 6 yr old who is now in 1st grade. She is doing wonderful and having fun learning about weighing things with the balance in science.

Ladybug Celebration is a new design in the past week. Today I just got a request to add a bee and a butterfly to the design. How do you like it?? I also made this design into baby shower and bridal shower invitations that I added to my website.

Honey Bee Baby Shower

When my first daughter was born I started calling her Honey before we picked out just the right name for her. It would have been fun to have a baby buggy like this one to push my little honey around in. Now she is 6 yrs old and is quite the helper. Little Lady Ladybug Invitation and Birthday Party cupcake toppers

I took these photos today of my Little Lady Ladybug Collection.

I would appreciate any comments about how I can improve the photo set-up. My scalloped edge paper punch that I ordered arrived today. My 3 year old and I had lots of fun cutting out scalloped edge circles to make these ladybug cupcake toppers, ladybug stickers, thank stickers or gift tags. She also helped me to bake the cupcakes.

We left our cupcakes plain to show how even plain cupcakes can look festive. These cupcakes are organic apple cake which is a recipe of my own creation. Please ask me if you want the recipe.
